These were the most returned gifts this holiday season


This holiday’s stinker gifts include some fashion flops and electronics fads that seem to have run their course.

Among the top 10 most returned gifts are women’s tops with bell sleeves and boots with fringes, according to B-Stock Solutions, a liquidation auction sales business for the likes of Walmart, Target and Macy’s.

Tiny-framed sunglasses once trendy among the tween and teen set are apparently out, replaced by oversized and aviator styles.

“Those were fast-fashion trends in 2018 that probably won’t make the ‘on trend’ list in 2019,” said B-Stock spokeswoman Melissa Gieringer.

Girly girls aren’t getting any love from the toy shelves, either, as realistic infant baby dolls from JC Toys — which cost between $15 and $60 a pop — didn’t score with millennial moms more interested in having their daughters play with super­heroes than with traditional dolls, according to Gieringer.
