Rihanna covers Harper’s Bazaar in rainbow makeup

Rihanna channeled a high-fashion parrot for her latest magazine shoot.

The pop star, 31, posed for the May cover of Harper’s Bazaar wearing a multicolored Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano couture jumpsuit and hat paired with a full face of technicolor makeup.

To create Rihanna’s show-stopping rainbow lids, makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench used an array of products from the singer’s Fenty Beauty brand, including the Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Chili Mango ($25), Summer Daze & Summer Nights Iridescent Lip Luminizer Trios ($32) and Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter in Mimosa Sunrise/Sangria Sunset($36).

In images from the editorial spread inside, the Fenty founder models even more many-hued looks, like a rainbow fringed jacket, dress and shoes by Givenchy, a vibrant purple Valentino Haute Couture gown and a baby blue embellished Chanel Haute Couture dress with matching floral hair accessories.

“The incredible feat of design that is couture fashion calls for an equally impressive person to wear it,” Bazaar’s Glenda Bailey wrote in her May Editor’s Letter. “Our cover star, Rihanna, is fully up to the task. The multitalented artist, entertainer, and entrepreneur wears museum-worthy masterpieces ranging from rainbow Givenchy to embellished Chanel with a confident ease.”
