Image result for Pentagon pushes Trump’s military parade to 2019The Pentagon on Thursday put off President Trump’s requested military parade — proposed for Veterans Day — until at least next year.

“The Department of Defense and White House have been planning a parade to honor America’s military veterans and commemorate the centennial of World War I,” according to a Pentagon statement.

“We originally targeted Nov. 10, 2018 for this event but have now agreed to explore opportunities in 2019.”

The announcement came shortly after the Department of Defense disclosed that such a parade would cost $92 million to stage – $80 million more than an initial estimate of $12 million.
