Madonna will announce details of her upcoming “Madame X” tour on Monday morning. And a music source told Page Six that Madge will be “playing super small venues,” with New York stops possibly including the Beacon Theatre and Brooklyn Academy of Music.
There will be premium pricing for the first few rows, we hear, but there will also be a lottery for fans to snap up $10 tickets to the shows.
The intimate shows will be inspired by Madonna’s time in Lisbon — where she attended “living room sessions” of music played at locals’ homes.
A source told us of the smaller “Madame X” shows, “these will be once-in-a-lifetime” events.
Madge has only hinted of a tour for her forthcoming album so far, telling Billboard this month: “It’s been spoken about in such a deep way that I’m actually having production meetings.”
