Macaulay Culkin may not have attended Sunday’s Academy Awards, but he kept the jokes rolling on social media.
On Twitter, the former child star bemoaned about being left out of the Oscars’ “In Memoriam” segment.
“I can’t believe this is the 5th Year in a row I’m not in the in-memoriam… and I’ve been trying so hard. #MackTweetsTheOscars,” Culkin, 38, tweeted alongside a black-and-white photo of himself smoking and holding a bottle of Woodford Reserve bourbon.
Culkin also took aim at Rami Malek’s Best Actor win for “Bohemian Rhapsody” over Christian Bale’s turn as former vice president Dick Cheney in “Vice.”
“If Christian Bale had just ONE more pie … he would have won,” he wrote.
The actor later posted about the night’s biggest upset, with Glenn Close losing Best Actress to “The Favourite” star Olivia Colman.
