Handling Verizon Wi-Fi woes

I moved into a townhouse complex in July 2017. As FiOS was not yet available, I asked Verizon to install Wi-Fi and phone. The technician came out and installed a box, but he could not make the service connect.

He said a Verizon team would come in the afternoon. No one came. He did not leave a password or phone number. After a week or so I returned the box to Verizon and contacted Cablevision.

The Verizon equipment never ever worked, but the company has been harassing me for over a year. When I call it says I am talking to the wrong division, but the ‘right’ division never calls me back.

Now it is sending this matter to a collection agency. Please help. L.L.Dear L.L.: I called Verizon for you and the problem has been solved.And Verizon says there won’t be any damage to your credit history. Let me know if that turns out not to be the case.
