Cardi B and Bruno Mars release steamy new track

Are Cardi B and Bruno Mars the new Beyoncé and Jay-Z — without the rings on it?

The super-duo from last year’s hit “Finesse (Remix)” are giving the Carters some competition with their latest collaboration, “Please Me,” which they dropped as a surprise early Friday.

The sexy bump-and-grinder finds Mars doing his best spin on James Brown’s “Please, Please, Please” as Cardi teasingly turns up the temptation.

“Let me demonstrate/Hit it one time, make it levitate,” she commands. “Girl, I ain’t one for beggin’/But now you got me beggin’,” he submits.

Cardi also dispenses some words of wisdom to the ladies out to seduce their man: “If you can’t sort the weave out, you shouldn’t even be out.” Noted.

He carries the chorus and the bridge, while she dominates the verses, featuring more heavily than she did on “Finesse (Remix).”

The track continues the ’90s R&B throwback of Mars’ Grammy-winning last album, 2016’s “24K Magic.” And it arrives just five days after she picked up her own Grammy — Best Rap Album for “Invasion of Privacy” — last Sunday.
