New Yorkers will soon be able to enjoy truly ice-cold brews, if Gov. Andrew Cuomo signs a bill passed by the Assembly today.
Beer and hard-cider ice cream will be legal under the legislation, passed by the Senate last week. It’s aim: to give a boost to the state’s growing number of craft brewers and farms.
Wine-flavored ice cream was legalized last year. Grapes, apples and dairy are three of the top agricultural products grown upstate.
