Apple’s next device might be music to some tech lovers’ ears.
The tech giant announced Tuesday it is launching AirPods Max, a pair of over-ear headphones, on Dec. 15 starting at $549.
Customers can order the headphones – available in space gray, silver, sky blue, green, and pink – starting Tuesday.
Apple says the headphones boast a custom acoustic design, spatial audio and active noise cancellation. It also features a Transparency mode allowing users to hear music and the environment around them at the same time.
“With AirPods Max, we are bringing that magical AirPods experience to a stunning over-ear design with high-fidelity audio,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, in a statement.
